Welcome to the Central Arizona DX Association

Welcome to the CADXA Web SiteThe Central Arizona DX Association (CADXA), an ARRL-affiliated club, is a group of Amateur Radio operators, located primarily in the Phoenix, Arizona area, who share a passion for DXing.  The club, founded in 1974, maintains a strong presence in the worldwide DX community.  Many members of the CADXA are leaders and top performers in the world of DXing, contesting and DXpeditions.

Anyone with an interest in Ham Radio, DXing or contesting is welcomed to join us at our regular monthly general meetings.  Our meetings consist of a quality presentation on a radio-related topic and are an excellent opportunity to meet with like-minded folks to discuss current events and make new friends.

The Scottsdale Swap at the Fort McDowell Casino on 87 North of Shea is Saturday, the 13th.  From TV spots, it promises to be more then just amateur radio.  Might bring your significant other and a fat wallet.

A few people have not remitted dues for 2010.  Send your dues to:

Bill Ellis - WB9CAC

Bob Davies will continue to order QSL cards and badges.  We are exploring a new QSL card source for higher quality cards at similar costs.  Stay tuned.

Also, if you have not received your 35th anniversary pullover shirt and glass coffee mug, pick them up at the next meeting.  Those who picked up the lighter yellow womens shirts will be surprised when you try to put them on, those are womens sizes.  Bring them back and swap them out.  Thanks.  No harm, no foul.
