Welcome to the Central Arizona DX Association

Welcome to the CADXA Web SiteThe Central Arizona DX Association (CADXA), an ARRL-affiliated club, is a group of Amateur Radio operators, located primarily in the Phoenix, Arizona area, who share a passion for DXing.  The club, founded in 1974, maintains a strong presence in the worldwide DX community.  Many members of the CADXA are leaders and top performers in the world of DXing, contesting and DXpeditions.

Anyone with an interest in Ham Radio, DXing or contesting is welcomed to join us at our regular monthly general meetings.  Our meetings consist of a quality presentation on a radio-related topic and are an excellent opportunity to meet with like-minded folks to discuss current events and make new friends.

If you are interested in learning more about the CADXA, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions web page or contact us for more information.

Breaking News

Well, the William's Hamfest has come and gone.  The CADXA Hospitality was the only game in town again and the club hosted 15 to twenty folks at any given moment.  The swap was better this year, with people showing up Saturday with fresh offerings.  The inch of rain Friday afternoon was a nice touch too.  N6KZ did card checking Friday and Saturday.  It was surprising how few from CADXA were there.  The usual suspects were absent.

Mark August 5th on your dance cards for the CADXA meeting.  Program will be everything you ever wanted to know about the Hurricane Mesa Supersonic Test track and Field Day rolled in to one.  See the cool stuff people actually get PAID to work with.  As usual, refreshments will be served.  (more like self serve)
